Lone Member Support

If you have received the free Literature pack from the office, have read it through and think that you would benefit from knowing more about Families Anonymous, there are several things that you can do to help yourself. The most important of these is to attend regular Families Anonymous (FA) meetings, but we know that the meetings are very spread out geographically and that there are many people who are unable to get to a meeting. Don't despair, there is help available.

If you can't get to a meeting, here are some suggestions: Firstly, look through the Literature list and find more reading material to guide you. The booklets 'Tough Love' and 'The Twelve Steps', the hardback 'Today a Better Way' and the Twelve Step Workbook are good places to start.

Secondly, we are able to offer support for Lone Members, either by phone or by email with a volunteer from FA. He/she will be able to offer a friendly, understanding ear, will not give advice, but will be able to share how life was before FA, and how FA has helped since.

Thirdly, if you begin to feel that FA has a lot to offer, and that there are others in your area who may benefit, then you may be motivated enough to think of starting a group up in your own area, and we have lots of help and advice that we can give you!

If you would like Lone Support, by phone or email, then please complete this form and return it to the office.
